Every October, on the occasion of World Nutrition Day, we hold a collection of durable foods for families in need in all our stores called HELPING FOOD.However, even in difficult times, we do not forget about people in need.
This year, too, we are giving them up to 12 tons of durable food, which SRC volunteers will deliver directly to their homes.WHY DO WE DO IT?According to the latest available statistics, up to 650,000 Slovaks are at risk of poverty or social exclusion.
These people find themselves in a situation of material need due to generational poverty, loss of employment, their own illness, illness of a family member or other reasons.
It also results in the inability to procure basic food regularly.
